Now your class has learned several techniques for lichen study, you may want to go on and plan a special survey, one tailored for your curiosity and/or community's needs. You could:

Collaborate with other schools in your district

Collaborate with other ecological regions, perhaps via telecommunication.

Examine other substrates, such as asphalt, rock, sand

Correlate moss, or insect life with your lichen data

Find someplace where SO² is being monitored and correlate these measurements with your lichen data.
