About ECO Badges
A company in California has developed an interesting device they call an ECO Badge. It consists of a plastic holder into which a specially treated strip of filter paper is placed. The filter paper has two parts. One section is used to measure ozone for one hour; the other section can be used to measure an eight hour average. After the measurement interval the exposed spot on the filter paper is compared to a color chart to estimate the ozone concentration.
